Tres poemas sobre el desamor tejen el eje central de este libro de artista, acompañados por ilustraciones propias concebidas especialmente para este soporte. Lo inacabado, lo mal hecho, lo que usualmente se descarta, se transforma en material activo que sostiene el discurso visual y poético. El error se convierte en forma, y el dolor íntimo en testimonio. Esta obra propone una arqueología afectiva: restos gráficos y verbales de un amor que se disuelve, como una casa que se parte en dos. No hay perfección técnica, hay insistencia emocional. Cada ejemplar es un archivo del intento: de amar, de hacer obra.

Three poems about heartbreak form the central axis of this artist’s book, accompanied by original illustrations created specifically for this medium. The unfinished, the poorly made, the usually discarded, are transformed into active material that supports the visual and poetic discourse. Error becomes form, and intimate pain becomes testimony. This work proposes an affective archaeology: graphic and verbal remnants of a love that dissolves, like a house split in two. There is no technical perfection—only emotional persistence. Each copy is an archive of the attempt: to love, to create.

Estas ilustraciones, inspiradas en poemas de Miren Agur Meabe, exploran una temporalidad emocional no lineal, donde el duelo, el desamor y la violencia se despliegan como capas superpuestas de experiencia. Al transformar elementos cotidianos en escenarios simbólicos de reflexión existencial, las obras interrumpen la narrativa cronológica tradicional y proponen una vivencia del tiempo atravesada por la repetición del dolor, la persistencia de la memoria y la fugacidad del placer. La ironía visual y poética se convierte así en una herramienta para desdibujar los límites entre pasado, presente y futuro, abriendo un espacio donde las emociones son territorios temporales en constante transformación.

These illustrations, inspired by poems by Miren Agur Meabe, explore a nonlinear emotional temporality, where grief, heartbreak, and violence unfold as overlapping layers of experience. By transforming everyday elements into symbolic settings for existential reflection, the works disrupt the traditional chronological narrative and propose an experience of time shaped by the repetition of pain, the persistence of memory, and the fleeting nature of pleasure. Visual and poetic irony thus becomes a tool to blur the boundaries between past, present, and future, opening up a space where emotions become temporal territories in constant transformation.
